This fifty duplicated page, book is designed to comply with the “Local Work record-keeping requirements”. Whilst most operators understand the requirement to complete a formal NHVR Work Diary when drivers operate outside 100kms from their “Driver Base”, many drivers operating within 100kms of their base (local work) are not keeping the required level of detail to comply with the “Local Work Record-Keeping” requirements. The book is designed to ensure that drivers are complying with the various requirements, including pre-trip inspections, start, rest and finish times and, where required, loading and weight details.
